A clearer starting point for your next client contract

If you freelance or consult, a client agreement can contain details you want to understand before you decide what to do next: payment timing, revision limits, confidentiality, or what happens when a project ends.

I built LegalClarify to help you work through that text. It produces an AI-assisted summary, key points and discussion prompts to compare with your original agreement.

Start with a fictional example

You don't have to upload a real contract to explore the workflow. Open the fictional demo and see the kind of details worth checking.

Here is one sentence from the practice example:

The fee includes one round of revisions requested within five business days of delivery.

A useful explanation should preserve both the allowance—one round—and the timing—five business days after delivery. Readable wording is useful only if it stays faithful to the source.

Four places to start

Keep the original agreement open and write down what you find:

  • Scope: what work or deliverables are included?
  • Payment: what event triggers payment, and what timing is stated?
  • Revisions: how many are included, and when must they be requested?
  • Ending the work: what does the text say happens next?

These are starting questions, not a complete review. When a detail is missing, mark it as missing rather than filling it in with an assumption.

For your own analysis, use pasted text, a TXT file or a PDF with selectable text. For Word files or scans, prepare a readable copy and check it against the original.

AI can miss context or make mistakes. LegalClarify is an educational tool, not a law firm or a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.

Free to try, with a paid option

The free plan includes three analyses per month. The Freelancer subscription is US$29 per month, with no monthly analysis quota on the paid plan. It renews monthly until cancelled.

To subscribe, sign in to LegalClarify, then review and confirm payment in Stripe. You can manage payment details and cancel renewal through Stripe from your dashboard.

Before submitting anything sensitive, read how LegalClarify handles your information. Results and chat records can contain document excerpts and may be retained in the service database and backups.

If you try it, tell me what you wanted to understand. A description of the question is enough; please don't email a sensitive contract. Your feedback helps me decide what to improve next.
